International Tea Symposium (Reunion Island)

May 19 - May 21
170,00€ – 450,00€

Under the High Patronage of Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, the city of Saint-Joseph (Reunion Island) is honored to host the inaugural edition of the International Tea Symposium from May 19th to 21st, 2026. This prestigious gathering commemorates International Tea Day and celebrates the recognition of tea as a “Living Cultural Heritage” by UNESCO.

A Distinguished International Platform: As France’s leading tea-producing region, Reunion Island serves as a symbolic bridge for global cooperation. This founding edition features the Republic of Korea as the Guest of Honor, marking the 140th anniversary of Franco-Korean diplomatic relations.

The symposium will commence its opening morning at the historic Labyrinthe En-Champ-Thé, before transitioning to our primary symposium venues for a comprehensive program of high-level scientific conferences, cultural exhibitions, and strategic networking sessions. We invite delegates to join this global dialogue dedicated to the preservation of ancestral knowledge, sustainability, and the promotion of tea as a vital instrument of cultural diplomacy.
